			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><font size="3" face="Times New Roman">Dear Friend of the Greenwich Land Trust,</font><font size="3" color="#000000" face="Times New Roman,Times,Serif">Once every ten years, the Town of Greenwich is required by the state of Connecticut to prepare a Plan of Conservation and Development (POCD).</font></p>
<p><font size="3" color="#000000" face="Times New Roman,Times,Serif">This fall, the firm of Planimetrics is hosting meetings around Greenwich inviting residents to comment on topics that are important to them.</font></p>
<p><font size="3" color="#000000" face="Times New Roman,Times,Serif">Topics that have been discussed at these meetings have been traffic, open space, the central business district, our shoreline, our parks, water quality, density issues, affordable housing, athletic facilities, to name a few.</font></p>
<p><font size="3" color="#000000" face="Times New Roman,Times,Serif">If we are going to have any impact on the future of land preservation in Greenwich, we need to speak out about the importance of open space to our health and the quality of life in our town!</font></p>
<p><font size="3" color="#000000" face="Times New Roman,Times,Serif">As a member of the Greenwich Land Trust community, I hope you will join in raising your voice for the protection of open space in Greenwich.</font></p>
<p><font size="3" color="#000000" face="Times New Roman,Times,Serif">We have the opportunity to voice our opinions at upcoming meetings on the following dates:</font></p>
