Birding: “First Sundays” at Greenwich Point

Audubon Greenwich presents “First Sundays”.  Greenwich Point, with its rich diversity of habitats & avian life, is justly noted as one of Connecticut’s premier birding sites.  It is also designated as an “Important Bird Area” by the National Audubon Society.  Join us for fun, friendly, fantastic bird watching at the Point on the 1st Sunday of every month.  Guides are experienced and knowledgeable birders from Audubon Greenwich, Bruce Museum & Wild Wings.  Everyone, beginner to expert, all ages, is welcomes.  Bring binoculars & meet at the second concession stand at 9:00 a.m.

Spring Into Audubon - A Nature & Environmental Festival 

SUNDAY, MAY 20

11:00 am - 5:00 pm

Mark your calendars with a reminder for the fabulous spring festival at Audubon Greenwich. Suitable for all, from families with children to adult nature lovers, the festival will feature guided hikes, live bird shows, guest speakers, recycling programs and exhibits. Kids games, pond activities and crafts will be available throughout the day. All ages are welcome.

12:15 / 2:15 pm: Recycling Programs by the Junior League of Greenwich

1:00 & 3:00 pm : Live Hawk Shows by Jen Pena

3:45 pm: Rehabilitated Raptor Release by Wildlife In Crisis 4:00 pm : Climate Change Show by Colin Bennett - From ‘An Inconvenient Truth’
