Think “Recycle” During Fall Clean-Ups
While doing Fall Clean-Ups, sort as you toss. Much of your “trash” can actually be recycled or reused.
Holly Hill (formerly known as The Dump) provides a one-stop center to drop off your trash and recyclables.
Start at the Goodwill Truck where you can drop household furnishings, toys, clothing and reusable items - you will receive a tax receipt onsite.
Next, drop used books, cans & bottles, newspapers, mixed paper (including junk mail, magazines and annual reports), cardboard, cell phones and American flags.
Follow the road to drop off “yard waste” and “metals” and then “construction debris” before finally dropping off “household trash.”
Town Employees are available to answer questions while you are “dumping.”
If you have large household furnishings or appliances in working order, Habitat for Humanity will make an appointment to pick up these items.
