“Honk For Peace” follows the 2003 anti-war movement starting in New
York City, and culminates with the historic 2006 Senate race between
Joe Lieberman, Ned Lamont, and Alan Schlesinger in Connecticut.
In the Democratic primary, Ned Lamont, a political newcomer, ran an
anti-war campaign beating Joe Lieberman, the 18 year incumbent and
former Vice Presidential nominee. As a result, Joe was forced to run
as an Independent in the general election and defend his Pro-war ideals.

“Honk For Peace” is a documentary of those who fought to end a war.

“It is extraordinarily well-done and absolutely fascinating in its
behind the scene glimpses. The interaction between Ned and the media,
especially Mark Davis, is not to be missed and should be studied by
all future campaigners in Connecticut.” - Jon Kantrowitz of
MyLeftNutmeg.com

“I think it is an important film that all of us who will be working
for peace in the 2008 elections need to see.” - Aldon Hynes; Blogger

“Footage from events such as Lieberman’s staffers attacking and
shouting down Ned Lamont’s appearance at a senior citizen housing
complex will enrage you, and show just how nasty the Lieberman
campaign got towards the end. But later in the film, Ned’s hopeful
optimism for the future if we all take part in the process is very
encouraging.” - Bob Adams (A.K.A. Connecticut Bob).
